Southern Tier 8 Regional Board has recently supported several Broadband Infrastructure Initiatives that include advocacy, community planning and investment requests for the underserved areas of rural Upstate NY that align with additional goals in the Economic Development District’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS; https://admin.steny.org/southern-tier-8/assets/d4unietbto8wg84w)
The Regional Board is seeking a consultant to design an outreach plan, strategies, materials and manage an upcoming conference event (Nov 2024) that address the organization’s efforts with ongoing infrastructure programs.
This consultant would prepare a concise message for community of recent local strategies and supportive mechanisms (funding, alignment, partnerships) for continued broadband program area pursuits. The Regional Board staff is seeking assistance for approximately 3 months.
