On March 30, Southern Tier 8 Regional Board hosted a grant information session for 45 attendees that included municipal leaders, non-profits & BOCES grant writers from the 8 county region.
Dot Richter, Regional Development Analyst II described the application process, offered examples of previous investments and discussed specific requirements. Tioga County Director of Planning Elaine Jardine, Chenango County Director of Planning & Airport Administrator Shane Butler and Otsego County Director of Planning & Solid Waste Erik Scrivener also offered their insight & answered local questions.
