About the Organization:

Compensation & Benefits Available:

Now Hiring: Planner

Seeking a Planner to work directly with the Executive Director and Regional Broadband Collaborative to address rural broadband infrastructure challenges.  A considerable amount of training in broadband infrastructure development will be provided under the organization's program with ConnectHumanity to assist with infrastructure development throughout the next few years and additional community development programs as a permanent full-time position.

We are looking for an experienced Planner that has a general understanding of rural community challenges, and can bring their expertise in community development,  public engagement, grant writing & administration, and strong technical skills in GIS and the Microsoft suite.  

Qualifications:

A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Master's Degree in planning, architecture, landscape architecture, environmental studies, geography, public administration, natural resources or related field; OR   B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in planning, architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, environmental studies, natural resources, geography, public administration or related field and one year of experience in municipal, County, community, regional or transportation planning; OR   C) An equivalent combination of experience and training as defined by the limits A) and B) above.
