Appalachian Community Capital (ACC) is starting the Green Bank for Rural America with participating community lenders to provide loans and investments to low carbon projects and businesses in their service area... (Lenders still need to be selected before any projects are financed).
The Green Bank for Rural America will work closely with community engagement and workforce development partners to ensure financed projects address community priorities, and that new job opportunities are prioritized for local residents.
On December 4, 2024 the application process for lenders will open. Following ACC's lender approval process, more information will be available for qualifying projects (likely in 2025).
